“You Can't Own the Sun,” a mural Sky Dai painted and installed at Awakenings Gallery in Chicago, IL. This multidisciplinary mural and installation was on view from June to October 2019. Pairing elements of the home with signs of caution, Sky Dai references trauma and memory, abuse, and their estranged sister.

Multidisciplinary mural utilizing ceramics, drawing, acrylic paint, video performance, found objects, printmaking to speak about the cautionary memory while interacting with different forms of space.
